The JEFFCO BevScan Model BS01 Beverage Analyser is a universal system for classifying and quantifying wine and beverages non-destructively through the bottle. The BevScan Through Bottle Beverage Analyser & Classifier uses a unique new near infrared spectroscopy technique to classify and identify bottles of wine without opening them, all within just a few seconds. Developed in conjunction with the Australian Wine Research Institute in Adelaide, South Australia, the BevScan can sample as few as 12 known good bottles of wine, build a SimCal® for that product and then predict whether other bottles are similar, all without opening the bottles. Identify vintage differences, authentic-ate vintage wines, check bottling quality, test maturation, check closures and separate unknown or oxidised product – non-destructively.By adding the Cuvette option 01, the BevScan becomes a stand-alone high quality research VIS/NIR transmission spectrometer with the ability to fully function with CAMO Unscrambler. As well, BevScan has the capability to import and use Unscrambler predictions.
