The JEFFCO Cutter Grinder Model CG03 is a versatile, heavy duty processor for cutting, grinding, shredding and mincing of organic, chemical, plastic and animal products for both production and laboratory use.  The effective cutting and separating action of the Cutter Grinder has proven itself in industries around the world for more than forty years. Now, we are pleased to present our third generation models with even better performance, speed and safety. The CG03 is especially suitable for the sugar industry in the testing and verification of brix, pol and fibre in sugar cane and bagasse, achieving a Preparation Index (pol in open cell) (POC) of >95% with the appropriate screen plate.  It can be used for whole stalk, machine chopped or core-sampled cane with equal effectiveness. The new series Cutter Grinder Model CG03 is the result of fifty years of experience and over five years of specific research and development.  Using a unique combination of rotor, blades and stators, we process the cane sample for a minimum time resulting in a fine fibre mass which retains its original moisture content to give the most accurate measurements.  Whether you are using the ICUMSA approved Wet Disintegration method to calculate brix, pol and fibre or the hydraulic press method, you will achieve superior results.  Because of the high throughput of the CG03, it is optimised for use with core sampling systems at the mill cane receiving centre to determine cane payments.  Because of the consistent output and very high preparation index (up to 95% Pol in Open Cell), the CG03 is very suitable for preparing samples for analysis by near infrared spectroscopy.  Most of the cutter grinder is manufactured from high grade stainless steel to provide easy cleaning, minimal contamination and long service life.  And it is driven by a powerful but safe 11kW motor with an electromagnetic brake.  For operator safety, special electronic interlocks are fitted and the electromagnetic brake ensures fast, safe stopping of the motor for quick access to the rotating parts when required whilst a foot-operated brake release makes maintenance and blade changes a snap. Specific attention has been paid to noise and vibration – anti-vibration isolators are fitted under the motor mounting plate and the base is fitted with height-adjustable isolation feet.
